First Pharmacy Denies Links to Alleged Mulago Land Transfer ClaimsFirst Pharmacy (U) Ltd has strongly rejected online allegations linking the company and one Brian Ssegawa to claims surrounding the alleged transfer of land said to be reserved for the Mulago Heart Institute.

In a statement issued on May 28, 2026, the company said it had seen social media posts that used an image of its premises while spreading the allegations, stressing that the claims were false and misleading.

The company categorically stated that Brian Ssegawa has no connection to First Pharmacy (U) Ltd in any capacity, including director, employee, or agent, and emphasized that it has no ownership or interest in the disputed land.

First Pharmacy described the allegations as deliberate, alarmist, and a serious misrepresentation of its operations, adding that they are entirely baseless and unsupported by facts.

It further called on those circulating the posts to remove them immediately and urged the public to rely only on verified information sources, reaffirming its commitment to healthcare service delivery in Uganda.

The company did not confirm whether it will take legal action but said the matter should be treated with seriousness and responsibility, reiterating its focus on providing quality healthcare services across the country.
