Police are searching for former Obsessions music group manager Ronnie Mulindwa following a raid that uncovered an alleged online prostitution and adult streaming operation in Kampala. The operation, conducted by the Directorate of Crime Intelligence, led to the arrest of 27 young women suspected of being involved in the scheme. According to investigators, the women were found inside a building where they were allegedly being stripped and filmed for online streaming platforms targeting foreign audiences. Police say the operation was designed to serve clients outside Uganda, with access reportedly restricted in Uganda and other East African countries. Authorities revealed that many of the women were recruited from districts including Mukono, Kampala, Lyantonde, Wakiso, Masaka, and parts of Busoga. Police allege that Mulindwa operated the network together with a man identified as Martin Male and a woman known only as Zeisha. The three suspects are currently on the run, and security agencies have intensified efforts to track them down. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Rachel Kawala confirmed that investigations are ongoing and that a security guard found at the premises was also arrested. Among those taken into custody was Vivian Gobera, whom police identified as Mulindwa’s girlfriend. During questioning, she reportedly told investigators that women recruited into the operation were assigned new names to conceal their identities from relatives and acquaintances. Gobera further revealed that the alleged streaming activities primarily targeted audiences in Western countries. Police say inquiries are continuing as detectives work to establish the full scope of the operation and apprehend the suspects still at large.
