President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is today attending the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) 2026 at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

Organised by the Uganda Tourism Board, POATE 2026 brings together global buyers, tourism investors, exhibitors, media, tour operators and industry leaders to explore Uganda’s tourism potential.

This year marks the 10th edition of the expo, which is running from May 21st to 23rd, 2026 under the theme “Wanderlust.”

The President’s attendance highlights the ongoing focus on tourism as a key sector for Uganda’s economic growth and development, with stakeholders continuing discussions and engagements at the event.

Uganda, widely known as the “Pearl of Africa,” continues to showcase its rich wildlife, culture, adventure, heritage and natural beauty to the world through the ongoing expo.
