SDA Uganda Union Agrees to Join National Cleaning Days

The Seventh-day Adventist Uganda Union leadership, led by President Pr. Samuel Kajoba, has met with Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja to discuss the church’s participation in the government’s National Cleaning Days.

Following the meeting, it was resolved that Seventh-day Adventists will participate in the exercise by cleaning public places within their communities on Sunday.

To allow members to take part in the national cleaning exercise without disrupting church programmes, Adventists have been advised to conduct Sabbath School and lesson study from home.

Congregational worship services will instead begin at 10:00 a.m., allowing members to participate in the community cleaning activities before gathering for worship.

The arrangement is intended to enable the Adventist community to contribute to the national initiative while maintaining its regular worship commitments.
