Ugandan music duo Kataleya & Kandle have officially ended their working relationship with promoter and manager Ray Pan after nearly two years together, marking another major shift in their career journey. In a statement released yesterday, the duo confirmed that Ray Pan Promoter is no longer serving as their manager, bringing to an end a partnership that began during a key rebuilding phase in their careers. “We, Kataleya & Kandle, would like to inform our fans, the media, promoters, and the general public that we are officially no longer working with Ray Pan Promoter, who has been our acting manager,” the statement read. The singers expressed gratitude to Ray Pan for the support and experiences shared throughout their time together, especially after their departure from Theron Music in 2024. “We sincerely thank Ray Pan for the journey we have shared, the growth, and the memories. We wish him the very best in all his future endeavours,” they added. The split marks another transition for the duo, who first gained fame under Theron Music before exiting the label following widely publicised disagreements over contracts and internal management issues. Their partnership with Ray Pan Management later offered them a fresh start, helping them remain active in the music industry and continue building their brand independently. Kataleya & Kandle have now revealed that they are working on putting together a new management team that will guide the next stage of their music career. “As we embark on this new chapter, we are focused on building a new team that we shall unveil in the near future,” the statement noted.
