National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters in Masaka are excited following the release of Masaka City Woman MP Justine Nameere on Saturday night. Nameere’s release was confirmed by her husband, Hamza Nsubuga, who said the legislator was already home and preparing to resume her activities. “She has a function at a church in Masaka City on Sunday, though I don’t yet know the name of the church. I hope you can speak to her after the function if you wish,” he said in a telephone interview on Sunday. In a video, Justine said she owns an iPhone bought for her by President Yoweri Museveni and that he is the only person who calls her on it.
