Uganda Suspends Cross-Border Transport and Cultural Gatherings to Contain Ebola Spread. The Ministry of Health has temporarily suspended cultural gatherings and public passenger transport services between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of new measures to help curb the spread of Ebola. The directive affects both water and land transport along the Uganda–DRC border. It will remain in effect for four weeks.
