Nation Media Group (NMG) Uganda has officially begun its reopening work-plan meeting following a 40-day blackout. The resumption of operations comes after receiving authorization from the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and President Yoweri Museveni.

The meeting was chaired by NMG Uganda Managing Director Sue Nsibirwa together with the senior management team. Nsibirwa praised staff for their resilience and adherence to guidelines throughout the sudden and unplanned closure.

Management also encouraged employees to remain committed to delivering credible, high-quality content to audiences who had missed the company’s broadcasts and publications during the blackout.
