Arsenal moved another step closer to winning the Premier League title after securing a tense 1-0 victory away to West Ham United at the London Stadium.

The Gunners knew only a win would keep them firmly in control of the title race, and they delivered thanks to a vital goal from Leandro Trossard.

Arsenal started the match with confidence and dominated possession in the early stages. However, West Ham nearly stunned the visitors before the breakthrough, only for goalkeeper David Raya to produce a fantastic save that kept the score level at 0-0.

That moment proved crucial as Arsenal soon found the opener through Trossard, who calmly finished to give Mikel Arteta’s side the lead.

West Ham continued to fight throughout the second half and pushed hard for an equaliser. Deep into stoppage time, the hosts thought they had rescued a dramatic late goal, but the celebrations were cut short after the strike was disallowed for a foul on Raya during the build-up.

The final whistle confirmed a massive three points for Arsenal, who now sit at the top of the Premier League table with 79 points, while Manchester City remain behind on 74 points.

With only a few matches left, Arsenal’s dream of lifting the Premier League trophy is becoming more real with every victory.
