Ugandan artist Fik Gaza has publicly expressed anger and disappointment after being removed from the performance lineup of Jamaican star Spice’s upcoming concert in Kampala.

Spice, born Grace Latoya Hamilton, arrived in Uganda this week ahead of her highly anticipated show at Lugogo Cricket Oval, where she is expected to perform to a large crowd.

Fik Gaza, who was among the artists that welcomed her at Entebbe Airport and accompanied her during early promotional activities, had hinted at a possible collaboration and hoped to share the stage with her during the concert. However, organizers later excluded him from the lineup, citing concerns over alleged violent conduct.

Reacting to the decision, Fik Gaza strongly denied the accusations, insisting he and his team are not violent and saying music is their focus. He also accused the promoters of unfair treatment, arguing that he had played a key role in supporting Spice’s arrival and promotion in Uganda.

He further expressed frustration, claiming the decision was unjust and disrespectful after his involvement in welcoming and supporting the visiting star. The situation has sparked debate among fans ahead of the concert, with attention now shifting to how the event will unfold without his performance.
