Ugandan singer King Saha has officially clarified that he has no plans to stage a concert on December 4, 2026, the same date initially booked for Jose Chameleone’s upcoming Chameleone Unlimited Concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval. The clarification follows an earlier communication from Chameleone’s Leone Island Music Empire, which announced the release and postponement of the concert date at the venue amid reports linking it to King Saha. In a statement issued through Kings Love Entertainment on June 1, 2026, King Saha said he had taken note of Chameleone’s letter regarding the release of the Lugogo Cricket Oval Stadium booking for December 4, 2026. “For the avoidance of doubt, I wish to state that I have no intention whatsoever of organizing or holding a concert on the same date, 4th December 2026, in competition with or alongside Jose Chameleone’s event,” King Saha stated. The singer emphasized that he remains committed to maintaining respect for fellow artists, promoters, and the wider entertainment industry. He added that any future event plans involving him would be handled independently and in a manner that promotes unity and growth within the industry. “My respect for fellow artists, promoters and the entertainment industry remains unwavering. Any discussions or plans concerning future events will be conducted independently and in a manner that promotes harmony and growth within the industry,” he said. King Saha concluded by urging all stakeholders to take note of his clarification, effectively putting to rest speculation that he intended to hold a rival event on the same day as Chameleone’s concert. The development is expected to ease tensions among fans and promoters, with both artists now appearing focused on avoiding a clash and fostering harmony within Uganda’s music industry.
