Chameleone Cancels ‘Chameleone Unlimited’ Concert, Gives Venue to King Saha

Dr. Jose Chameleone has cancelled his planned “Chameleone Unlimited” concert that was scheduled to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval Stadium on December 4, 2026, and has officially released the venue to Kings Love Entertainment, headed by fellow musician King Saha.

In a letter dated May 26, 2026, Chameleone confirmed that the venue had already been secured and fully paid for in preparation for his concert. However, he said he voluntarily chose to release the booking in the interest of the entertainment industry and to give other stakeholders an opportunity to host their event.

“This confirms that I have voluntarily released my booking of Lugogo Cricket Oval Stadium for 4th December 2026, which had been secured and fully paid for my concert, ‘Chameleone Unlimited’,” he stated.

Chameleone further authorized the management of Lugogo Cricket Oval Stadium to transfer the booking to Kings Love Entertainment.

“In the interest of the entertainment industry and allowing other stakeholders an opportunity to host their event, I have decided to make this date and venue available to Kings Love Entertainment,” he wrote.

Despite giving up the date and venue, Chameleone emphasized that “Chameleone Unlimited” remains a priority and that a new date for the concert will be announced later, Insha Allah.

The letter was copied to Lugogo Cricket Oval Stadium Management, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), the Uganda Police Force, and Leone Island Music Empire.The communication was signed by Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone, under Leone Island Music Empire.
